I know all about 25, 36 and 47 modes, but does anyone have any info on 18 mode.

18 code is for the factory adjustments and programming.
      DFW (don't fool with)
Why do they call it common sense?

If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?

You can disable mode 18 by setting soft switch 30 to a 0. Found on DI551,650,5510, & 7210 models.

is this a back door for service mode. i know when i have gone to school some of the teachers show this way just in case you change the tech mode password a backdoor into the machine however wont show you how. Then when you call tech support you have to replace a board.

The back way into service mode is to select whatever mode you want to go into by holding down the number keys for the mode you want and turn the machine on. You can change the service password in 25 mode once your in. Turn machine off and on to exit.
