[Jamming] Bizhub C452 Tray 3 J13-01

Hi All,

I have a problem on a C452 machine that I am finding hard to resolve.


The machine has problems with tray 3 feeding causing jam code 13-01.

When the machine jams if you open tray 3 the paper is just in the nip of the double feed prevention roller but has not passed through it.


Other times the paper exits the machine but you can see damage to the page where it has forced its way through the roller and sometimes the machine runs ok.

We have replaced the below parts:

Paper feed assby complete (1500-SHEET PAPER FEED ASSY)


Paper cassette

Has anyone had a similar problem?? Solution??

i have had this problem before and i cleaned out the magnetic clutches at the back, would change them if it comes back in, also tried to adjust the double feed prevention roller by trying to bend it down a little.
but you have changed the whole tray???
it could be the DC Brushless motor

Clutches on the back like the other post.. Could be dirty or faulty

C451 feed assy is different that C452...

After much %&%ing about we think we may have fixed it by changing sensor PS29 (above tray 4) and adjusting the pressure of the spring, 1000 feeds no jams, happy days
