[Misc] Scan to USB Flash Drive

Hi all,

Wonder if somebody can help me with some information. I've got a B751. The customer would like to scan to USB External device (Flash Drive). The machine have a Hard Drive installed, and we can print documents from the USB Drive, do I need anything extra, like A EK-703 to scan to the USB drive or am I missing something, because I can't find any place where I could scan to the flash disk. I know on the c 360 series you need to have a EK to scan to a USB drive.

I would appreciate it if anybody could assist me in this.

Go into

Administrator mode ->
System settings->
User Box Settings->
External Memory settings->

enable scan to USB, it is off by default

I've had customers that could'nt find the port...located on the front upper section under a white flap..Also, if you turn on authentication, print from/scan to USB are restricted by default...simply turning them on in the Admin mode won't make any difference. Emujo
