Konica Minolta c654 with fiery / account track

Have a question about setting up scan to gmail with a fiery and a KM 654. Will the machines email pass through the fiery or do I have to set up the email server on the fiery?

also dose anyone know if you can use account track at driver level for locking down the km box and it work with the fiery? The customer went from a canon device with department I'd management to this and I have had no such luck with getting it to work or see anything in the driver related to it they are Mac environment.

The fiery (when setup correctly) allows the emperon controller to scan to email as a router so you only need to setup the emperon for that.

On the Mac you have to turn on the user authentification/account track in the ppd under output options. Then in the driver itself you have to add the crudentials for the accout track/user authentification.
