IU's were user replacement items on these boat anchors.

An instruction leaflet comes with the IU.

No service manual required, No adjustments required. Machine detects it as new and does what it needs to by itself.

      1. Open the main door which is on the right.
      2. Grab hold of the two green handles and pull out the IU.
      3. Unbox new IU.
      4. Insert new IU.
      5. Close the main door.

The new IU will then be initalised and reset the count.
Please don't ask me for firmware or service manuals as refusal often offends.

They should of stayed with this method.

I throw the entire IU out everytime i do a drum change anyway on everything since - vacuum cleaner stays in the car & never dirty hands

sigh......., yes. For our fleet of rentals ideal. Just go there without toolbox and change the image unit. No fuzzing, no c2557 etc. For customer owned machines less good cause the customer gets the units over the internet and does the replacement by himself.

Color is not 4 times harder... it's 65,000 times harder. They call it "TECH MODE" for a reason. I have manual's and firmware for ya, course... you are going to have to earn it.
