    Crazy Counters on Bizhubs

Hello everyone, I have 3 bizhubs (C250/351) that have had to have the nvram recovery program used on them. they now work but the counters are irratic one says 243457876 copies and should say 20k.

is their any way to set/reset these counters to correct reading??????

    cheers

The recovery program should not have adjusted the counters, you may still have a problem with those machines.

I had one that only counted the color copies and the total. Scans where counting on the black and white counter. C250's where screwy with nvrams anyways.

Running the NVRAM recovery program solves most of the erratic meter reading isssues. If this doesnt work , the only alternate is to replace the NVRAM board, as we had the same problem and we solved it after replacing the NVRAM board. All the best.

I made a NVRAM recovery on a C252 and all the counters remain. The only problem it was that I have to make every single step from the installation procedure.

You might want to replace the NVram & MFP as a set.
We have had meter issues after replacing the NVram. We tried another NVram and same issue. Finally we replaced the NVram and MFP, this resolved the issue. However the meters will be reset back to zero. There is no way to recover the original meter.
