Any tips on how to get the Exact same green three weeks later on a KM C8000

note: we're using efi fiery's command workstation 5

We have a client who is quite picky about a particular green on their finished produt, and I'm having a hell of a time trying to match the original proof they gave us.
I start after a calibration, nowhere Near the desired colour, and since then I've been incrementally adjusting the gamma offset of the yellow and cyan on the touchscreen. I've 'bypassed colour conversion' in expert settings, which got us a Little closer to where we wanted to be, but still no cigar.

Is there anything else on command workstatiion I can be changing.

I would suggest a Colour Profiler ES-1000, I think that is what its designed for.

We do have a ES-1000, but we only use it for calibrating...I was thinking it could be used for this sort of thing, but couldn't see any other obvious use for it in CW5...is there separate software we need?

what program are they printing from?
Do they have a copy of the Konica Minolta Colour Rescue Disk?
this disk has all the correct numbers for colours.

Check with your sales department and see if they have any copies of this disk.

They're PDF files imported into Command Workstation 5...

You can use the ES1000 within CW5 to scan the proof Green they gave you, you can use the data to setup a profile.
Works a treat

I've just had a look, and it looks like we need another package (Fiery Color Profiler Suite), but it says it uses the ES-2000. I've printed off the brochure for the powers that be to see if they think it'd be a good idea to buy it. but thanks for the advice

You can also scan the monitor and set a profile for that. This will also make the screen come closer to the output of the screen. I do think you need the profiler package to get this also.

Like the last post, is it a "Spot Colour" or "Process Colour". If the customer is fussy on the particuler colour then use spot on editing or substitute colour editing in command workstation.

If you accept suggestions from the popcorn gallery (or a Lanier (Ricoh) tech who has only seen Fiery but never worked on it), here's an off the wall thing - did they set up Adobe Acrobat or Acrobat Reader to print properly? To print from Acrobat is a thinking person's job, otherwise they won't get what they want. At least that is what I have seen.
