I received a request to setup the machine to send meter reads via fax. Is this possible. I could not find any reference to this in the manual. Via email is all I know. Just want to make sure before I say it can't be done. Thanks.

It's possible....what you need to do is find someone competent and mindful enough to go to the machine whenever a report is needed.....print out the meter read....go to Scan/Fax...have them press a favorite button to where you need it faxed (you'll need to set this up beforehand)...and press Start!
Seriously though I do not believe this is feasible to set up fully automated...Meter read via email is your only viable automated option I believe..."In a cruel and evil world, being cynical can allow you to get some entertainment out of it."

If they can scan to email, then just setup the meter notifications to go via email instead.Please don't ask me for firmware or service manuals as refusal often offends.Comment

Yeah I don't understand why this was listed on my service call. Hilarious part is that the machine didn't even have a fax card. I just set it up via email. I get some crazy request sometimes.
