Hi all. I have an issue with this machine. It produces thin black stripes on the middle of the copied page.I cleaned the optics, the main charger, the transfer charger. Still the same thing. The drum and the cleaning blade were changed about 4 months ago. They look good. I don't know this machine very well so any advice would really be usefull to me. I attached a scanned copy so you can see what my trouble is. Thanks.

As said before, cleaning blade not functioning well. Either old, worn, debris interfering or installed wrong.

Maybe have a look at the fuser as well. Upper roller could be in need of replacing.Comment

Re: Minolta ep 1054 - thin black stripes on the copy
As has already been said...you have a bad cleaning blade...the wavy lines are the movement of the cleaning blade.
I also agree on the need to check the upper fuser roller....it may be worn as well.Comment

Re: Minolta ep 1054 - thin black stripes on the copy
Hi guys. So i cleaned the blade today and put the white powder on it. Indeed, the lines began to diminuish in intensity but are still there. Looking closer at the blade and i noticed that dark green colour that worn blades have. I ordered a new blade and as many of you said, there is toner on the hot roller and the pressure roller. When i'm changing the blade i'll change them also. Thanks for the advice. Much appreciated.Comment

Still wondering how a cleaning blade "changed 4 months ago" could fail that quick...........................
