    C353 - Occasional bw print in the middle of color prints

    Good morning!

    This one from a colleague of mine: What could cause the occasional bw printout in the midst of a color print job (where it wasn't supposed to be one)?

      I have seen print drivers do some interesting things to images.

          If the driver has the option make sure they print in "Full Color" not "Auto Color" auto color works on a percentage if the page has less than a preset amount of color on it it will be printed in BW.
          Online Store is closed. Chip resetting is a thing of the past! Thank you to all my past customers.

              Yep, already told him to reinstall the drivers (completely removing the old ones first) and told him to reflash the firmware. I only asked to check if it was a known ocurrence or if it is anything new.

                  Check your error codes in the service mode..If you are seeing c-2152, You may need to check the transfer belt.

                      It could be Transfer belt Retraction Clutch, may be weak, not functioning properly. 1st transfer rolls for colors are not properly lowered resulting in only black prints.
