di 3510 turning pages around while using df

customer said it was so. then I witnessed it. making copies off the glass fine. doc feeder. they are 180 off. they do come out face down. that is normal. but if I put a original in the feeder facing me. it should come out of the finisher upside down and still facing me. it is facing the other way. I have reset by using the paperclip image data trouble. reset machine. no dice. instead of starting to swap stuff out. thought I would ask. I do have 2 brand new afr 19 feeders. wonder if that problem is in the df.

    thanks for your thoughts

I am going to change out the doc feeder. its all I can think of at this point. since the copies are fine off the glass

Hoping to understand the description well I cannot believe the ADF is causing this because it mainly just handles the paper. The image reading/recognition is done with the scanner unit through the slit glass.
