    c253 usb ysoft firmware

    Hello,

    I am trying to load firmware on this mc c253 to enable a usb card reader! does anyone know how to do it?
    have downloaded the ysoft firmware from infohub!

    i have tried CF card and usb but comes up with error!!

    Does anyone know the correct set up procedure????

    is there any special comand to type in cygwin?

      If you don't know how to load firmware, then you have no business doing it.

          Thanks for that helpful input, you have really helped me get the right answer for my original thread!!!! NOT

          i know how to load firmware thankyou!

          but this is firmware to enable a usb card reader to be fitted!!


          i am having difficulty and was wondering if anyone could have helped! I feel answers like yours are pathetic!!
          I have posted this for a reason, i suggest if you can not help me then dont write any sarcastic little comment!!

              sorted!!!

              (1) Make CF card image for Installation
              1-1 Decompress zip_file to a root directory (as C
              1-2 Change directory to "card_work" by a command prompt
              1-3 Put the following comand

                  you get use to him. in my opinion selling KM manuals for profit is wrong. Its bad enough he sells them let alone even distributes them

                      I did this the other day and needed to refresh my own memory.

                      Indeed you cant load the loadable device driver for the card readers with firmware imaging toolkit, you must use cygwin to create the card or all you will get is a "Download NG" when you try to load it.

                      once i did that it all worked perfectly, there is also a bulletin for how to do it.
