Replacing entire Konica C500 ADU drawer

I have a Konica C500 where the whole ADU drawer--the whole thing is the biggest irritant ever in my life. It won't feed, it jams, it prints crooked. In a 250 sheet run I bet I have to pull that damn drawer out 200,000 times. I have a junk C500 where the unit worked fine. Can I just trade the whole drawer assembly--the entire kit and kaboodle? Or will there be a software conflict? Thank you.

as far as I remember of the beast the adu is just a unit no software just hardware, so swopping it should have no software conflicts. while you have the adu out check the connectors for cracks or paper inside.
Get your facts first, and then you can distort them as much as you please.

Thank you, friend. Perhaps you have made my excruciating annoyances easier with this knowledge.
