I have a customer that wants to add hole punch. Machine has the FS-110 finisher. I tried to mount a PK-5 that I removed from a Minolta Di-5510 (FN-10). I figured the firmware was different but gave it a shot anyway. Led's lit on the PK-5 board but didn't punch and paper jammed everytime at fin exit. So I removed PK and told customer I will see if I can find the corect PK.
I found a new PK-120 kit online but description says something about "FS-110 (only mountable on serial # 13QE14000...)
The serial # for machine I need to mount it on is 14JS49757.
Anyone know what the deal is with this and why it won't work? Is there a way to get it to work in a finisher with different serial #? Since the machine is so old I couldn't find anything on K/M knowledge base.
