[Misc] PRO C5501 moving to new facility advice.

    Hi,

we are moving a C5501 machine to a new office that is about 4 miles away, I never transported any used machine before. Could you give me some advice for safety transport procedures and things to look and keep in mind?

    Thank you.

    Hi,
I would do the following before moving the machine:
Seperate the finisher, lct from the machine
Remove the transfer belt unit, drum units, developing units and move them seperatley from the machine (make sure the drums are covered and protected from light).
Ensure the machine when being moved is not bumped around too much.
Ensure the machine is as level as possible when moved.
    Hope this helps

Thank you for the advice, what would you do with the control panel and scanner?

Then get the service manual from justmanuals.com because you're going to need it.
