c253 freeze on sandbottle

called on a c253.on switching on it freezes on the sand bottle display and it will be unoperative.I tried to clean and swap positions of the nvram,and disconnected and reconnected the hdd,but remained the same.I think I have to refresh firmware.can somebody gives me a help in this?

If i remember correctly it needs a special firmware,if you have access to KM database make a search for it.

Did you try rewrite the firmware ? if still can't maybe is MFB board Issue ( i Facing C351 )

i am a tech i got the firmware(from infohub),also the loader and updated firmware.problem solved,apart from the fact that the counters got corrupted.but at least copier working.i had to re install the copier

bad RAM can cause this issue too - swap the sticks around to confirm.

If bad stick is in bank 0, machine will have black screen and both LED's on on the scanner.
if bad stick is in bank 1, machine will start, but will lockup at any stage during boot up.
