    [Misc] SMB scan with Mac OS10.8.3 bizhub C654

    Hi,

    Today I ran into a problem with scan to SMB, is there something changed in de new os version? Customer also had another mac runnin os10.4 wich was working fine for SMB scan.

      Apple changed smb protocol with 10.8. Apple also removed ftp from being easily accessible. It can be done but it is a pain. I do not have the steps right now but apple forums have several work arounds.
      And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!

          Hi,
          As per the last correnspondence Mac 10.8 has a new SMB protocol (Samba 2). Also they released a Mac server OS so made FTP unavailable (it is still there just hidden away).
          I suggest you download and use another FTP server. A good one is PureFTPd-Manager-1.8. It is open source. This seems to work well.
