    Email Issue

    Hi All,

    I have a Minolta c350 copier/printer which is configured to send scanned content as emails to the users. A couple of days back it stops sending mails. I tried looking into it and found that doc is not an issue it just stop sending the emails as PDF files which is most commonly used. SMTP gateways are properly specified and relay at SMTP server is also not an issue.

    Is this something related with the Post Script drivers?
    Has anybody faced this problem before? Please help!!!

    What is the error result or message that you get when you attempt a scan?

      Drivers make stuff do crazy things, or not do anything at all, but they are free. Did you reinstall the drivers and get the same problem?

        scanning to email has nothing to do with the print driver.
        that said i have found the c350 easier to set up ftp scanning to a folder then attaching to an email with whatever email client they use.
        The force will be with you always.

          Indeed, the postscript or pcl driver has nothing to do with scanning. Check to see if you can scan in other ways (smb or ftp). If yes, check the server mail (smtp). Most usually, the smtp server is the issue.
