code error C-EEE3 at bizhub C352

Hi!

I have another bizhub C352 that shows this error code C-EEE3 m
In the service manual it says "engine section undefined malfunction"
Does this mean I need to install the new version firmware ? or is it something else?

Please give me some advice.

I didn't find anything regarding this exact model but looking at this error on other various models.

It is related to the PRCB board.

First I would do a trouble reset to see if the error will just go away and not come back.

Failed or missing firmware on PRCB. Flash the firmware

In one case I saw there was mention of failed memory modules that has caused this before.

Check connections on PRCB or replace it. If you replace it you must flash firmware to the new board.

In manual error code C-EEE3 appear :
CEEE3: Engine section undefined malfunction
Mechanical control board (MFPB)
1. Check the MFPB connector for proper connection and correct as necessary.
2. Change MFPB

And in service mode error code appear :
Firmware version
MFP Controller
Fax board controller
Scaner
Printer

there is another option besides the firmware installation?
