    [Error Code] c2557

    Hi There
I have a client with a konica minolta b250 which was giving lines down copies, so i took drum unit out to check it and confirm the marks are on the drum. Now since i have put the drum unit back it is giving erro C2557. I have not changed the drum or anything. can some explain how to reset this error code. I have never worked on a konica before so i don know how to get into test mode or anything.
    Thanks
    David

it sounds like your reset the drum count and developer count? that is an atdc code. the only way I know how to reset is to replace drum and developer correctly. then run the f8 to set up the new reference. the old 3510 series were much easier to fake out.

That's rough.... One of the sponsors of this FREE site with FREE advice is selling manuals for just a few $$'s Why not support the site with buying a manual when you need one?

Im with you hans I for one. donate to this site. and I use the site as well. I don't buy manuals. since I am a dealer. but I appreciate and utilize the information that I get from this site. I don't mind helping a guy out if he has questions. but I won't send someone a manual when it could be purchased. also I dont mind helping a person with tech advice. but in this situation this is not an easy fix. replacement of drum developer running f8 etc. you just won't happen to get into the machine and run these functions. it takes a tech with knowledge and is trained to do this task. I have lots of money invested into my schools over the past 20 years. and pride myself with being trained in my field. nobody knows all the answers.

Than David I do not understand that your boss has a problem with spending 12 USD for a manual.
