Source material is a mixture of letter and legal size docs. Sometimes its 50 of one, 10 of the other 100 more of the first, then 50 of the latter etc. continuing for occasionally 1000+ pages. requirement is that they are scanned in order, and into a single PDF (not ideal for files of this size I realize but ....)
When the material is scanned it correctly identifies the first group as letter, and the PDF reflects the appropriate page size. once it hits the first legal page, it correctly changes the source scan to legal, and the pdf page is thus correctly reflects the legal size. The problem is that from this point on, the pages are scanned as legal, even if the source pages are in fact letter. Apparently this is a problem, as these documents go to the legal dept, and they do not want letter size pages in the PDF scanned at legal size.
The automatic source size option is enabled when scanning is done.
