[Error Code] bizhub c280

Need some help
Have a c280 that pops an error code every so often when copying
error code c2556.

Recently installed was a yellow dev unit and iu.

Plz help.

We have one doing exactly the same, we have changed drum, dev unit, hopper and sub hopper and the small board that controls the toner unit yet still get the error. Only thing left for us to try is the Main Board. We are currently manually toning machine and it works for about 2 weeks.

Go into service mode- State Confirm.
What is the Y toner level?

good call Peter
State confirm is a great place to get info
if its 3% then its wanting more toner
Should be around 6 to 7%


Service manual says
Front side relay board (where Dev units plug in )
PRCB

drive clutches for toner drive are common (whole unit)
This is where you can manually tone up ...slowly
its slow because the clutch is slipping.
The internal clutches are the same ..so you can swap them over to test (if you feel like it )
