Odd that a scanning error is indicated when you are printing.

C-6702* Address abnormality of FIFO for
    scanner. When scanning an
    image, compression of scanned
image data is not correctly completed.
    Image processing board
    (IPB)
    I/F board (IFB)
    Image memory control board
    (IMCB)

I just happened to run across this: TAUS0701021EN

      1. Failed Image Processing Board. Components NF30 and C249 may have failed on the IPB. For the details, please view the attached photo.
      Replace the IPB (p/n A03U H020 28 for bizhub PRO C5500/C6500/C6500P and p/n A0U0 H020 02 for bizhub PRO C5501/C6501C6501P/C65hc).

      2. The Image Memory Control Board (IMCB) has failed.Replace the image memory control board (p/n A03U H040 13).3. Change to inch size.4. Install the Fusion (INDriver) patch. If that does not resolve the problem, replace the Fusion Board (p/n 503-00351A).
      5. Document is being scanned while the controller is still booting. Please wait until the controller has fully loaded before beginning the scan process.6. The OACB (System Control Board) has a poor connection to the touchscreen or the OACB has failed.
Reseat CN251 at the OACB and CN172 on OB/3. Replace the OACB (p/n A03U H010 5A) as necessary.
      7. HD-506 option is installed but not enabled. (Usually a C-6703 is indicated when printing.)Enable HD-506 by turning ON software SW 2-0. To turn ON software SW 2-0, perform the following: a. Enter Service mode. b. Select System Setting. c. Select Software SW setting. d. Scroll to SW 2-0 and select ON. e. Exit Service Mode.Note: When installing an HD-506, ensure that both software SW 2-0 and SW 10-1 are ON.
