[Error Code] brizhub pro 6000L error code C-2241

    Hi.

I have 2x of these machines in the same customer throwing a C-2241 (Yellow drum rotation error) code on a fairly regular basis, but clears with a simple reboot for a couple of weeks

I have done the norm, clean through machine, replace Y drums, check clean encoder, update firmware, etc, etc. I can fined no info about this code on Infohub.

I have done the course but only have these 2 of this type out so my experience is limited, so any suggestions are welcome before I start ordering expensive parts.

    Cheers.

        Hello,

I mean you swapped Drum Units between color or machines.

bizhub 6000 series machines record the DrumUnit's rotation speed.
If you swapped drum unit you should reset drum rotation values.

        Did you solve problem ?

        Regards.

          Hi gurko_gg.

I did not swap the Yellow drums, just replaced them with new drums I keep on site.

Difficult to know if the problem is resolved as the client normally resets the code, and I only notice when im on site and check the error log.

if it helps someone: if you swap to a new drum (DU-104) and get this message...you might have not removed the transport screws (red marking at the cleaning blade end caps)

it took me a while to figure out but it seems minolta sends out DU-104 now with those transport screws. Non either service manual nor anywhere other this is mentioned.
