[Misc] C550 - IC409 not recognized by copier

    Hi,

I've mounted VI-504 with relay board, then the Fiery IC-409. I've changed to Controller 1 in service mode.
I can access the fiery's web interface, but on the machine, under Utility menu, the option no. 5, Controller details, does not appear.
I can connect to Fiery via CWS5, but I cannot print anything.
I used method B of mounting, one LAN cable from router to Fiery Controller, one crossover cable from controller to copier.
The Fiery code is "00", it seems that it hasn't any problem.

On the machine, administrator settings, network settings, tcp/ip auto, the auto ip allocated is 172.17.249.2 with subnet 255.255.255.248 and default gateway 172.17.249.1.

I've attachet a print screen from web interface.

    Thank you

did you connect the "video" cable between the fiery and the machine (vi card)? This looks like a scsi cable.
And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!

      Of course I did

All the connections were made very well.

Case solved: firmware update. Seems that my previews machine firmware did not supported fiery. After machine firmware update, fiery works.

      TY
