Underneath the cleaning unit is what is called the PCC unit (I think PCC means precleaning charge), that helps clean the drum. You're going to have to remove the cleaning unit and drum, pull a light purple colored knob on the front and turn it 90 degrees and remove the PCC. The wire in that might be broke.
