Hi! I have a problem in KM 920, it jam in every cassette and bypass. Try to replace the vertical conveyance clutch and registration still the paper is stuck in pre transfer roller it didn't reach transfer unit. try to clean also the sensors in ADU fusing and exit. Misfeed code is J32-01. One thing i notice that the centering sensor is not lighting. I event try to interchange the sensor PS-44 and PS-54 to bypass sensor and no luck. Any thought regarding this issue is highly appreciated.

Hi,
I am confused, the jam code you quote indicates the paper has exited the fusing unit but not entered the paper exit unit.
Do you mean J31-02?

Hi! yes the code is J31-02 but it will not reach even in the transfer unit. Thats why i also clean the sensors in fusing ,exit and even in duplex. very rare that one paper will pass but the next will jam with the same location.

Hi I already di-assemble the whole registration clean the roller and apply grease in the bushing.

Guys, I already resolved the issue the problem is transfer unit, I replace it by new one. It is arcking thou it dont have an error code. I spent 3 days on that machine isolating the problem.

I want to make sure before buying this part. In my machine the paper leaves the fusing but not entered the paper exit unit. One detail - Face down - stays in fusing and additionally information (Lower level M4 and pull out ADU unit) Face Up - comes out halfway with fusing from the machine without errors (only J32-01)

In that case this part is not your problem.
You have problem in fusing unit propably,maybe fusing exit sensor/actuator...
You are and user or a tech?

I am a user with a very long experience. Info- J31-02. Lower level M4 and pull aut ADF unit. (when Feed down)

Issue fixed. The reason was the sensor on the fuser PS2.
