    KonicaMinolta bizhub 1050???????

    Hi everybody,

    One of our important customer wanna buy high volume machine. He print about 20k print daily.

    I suggest him to get bizhub 1050

    Dose this machine have alot of problems ????

    please tell me the magor problems of this machine.

    I have operated a 1050 for about a year now. It is a truly great workhorse machine. Although I'm only running 3/4 of the volume of your customer, I'm sure it could handle it. The only comparable machine in this volume range is a Xerox Docutech type but the price on that is much higher and I'm not sure its worth it.

        We have a customer who has done 7 million in just over 2 years this machine is unstoppable.

            Great machine but with one condition: you have to work it hard. It the machine is working, you won't get any major problems, if it stays too long you'll end up with some nasty problems... Also, replace with only OEM parts and consumables.

            Highly recommended for high volumes.

              3 in one building with around 8M each after 18 months. They run great if you run them. Saddle finishers require some finesse if they use them alot. Lots of cables to slip off track and break. The PM cycle is 750K but we are getting upwards of 2 million with only a mid cycle cleaning web change...
