Bizhub 600/601 Drum Compatibility

I just installed a G-DR710 drum (not ordered by me) into a 601 without noticing the "G" and it worked except it had a nice 1" dent in it....

I am seeing the G-DR710 as compatible with the 600/750 and the DR710 for the 601/751.

Whats the deal with these G model drums? Thinking about ordering another one as they are half the price.

G-* drums are for rebranded Konica Minolta machines such as Oce. They should work without problems in KM branded machines.

G is probably for Generic, does the box have the km logo on it ?

There is no KM logo on the box, but there is small info about manufacturer and importer - "Konica Minolta ..."
