[Error Code] LS-505 error code C-1203

    Hi everyone,

I have an LS-505 installed on a Bizhub 1200P, on start up the printer displays an error code of C-1203. I have the option to disengage the main stacker and only use the sub tray. I've swapped the alignment motor and the sensor, but I'm not sure what to do next. Any suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Joseph

    Re: LS-505 error code C-1203

LS-501/LS-502/LS-505, C-1203 (SC76-03) or C-1204 (SC76-04) at power up. The SC76-xx codes are indicated on the bizhub PRO 1050 series.
    Solution
    PROBABLE CAUSES:

    1. The Grip Conveyance Sensor Adjustment has not been performed.
Note : The LSCB may have just been replaced. Please refer to attached LSCB Update documentation.
Perform the Grip Conveyance Sensor Adjustment (procedureis listed in the LS-50x section under ADJUSTMENT/SETTING/MECHANICAL ADJUSTMENT).

    2. The Holder Claw (Grip) is damaged or missing.
Reinstall or replace the Holder Claw (p/n 15AV 5050 1).

    3. Alignment motor (M7) has failed.
    Replace M7 (p/n 15AV 8001 0 )
SPECIAL NOTE : Solution contribution by Gregg Gallant and Cesar Jimenez, Production Print/SSD

Thank you for the info. I performed the adjustment per the manual and I'm still receiving the error code. The grip looks to be in good shape. I have another stacker I can pull a motor from. Is there anyway I can test the motor before a pull it?

Don't apologize, I appreciate the help. M7 sounded kinda weird, so I manual moved the stopper section to the rear. The tray lifted and it was fine, no error code.

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction.
