C350 Hi yellow toner usage

    [Misc] C350 Hi yellow toner usage

    My C350's seem to use a lot of yellow toner lately (last few month's). When I pull the yellow IU's, they always have a lot of toner waste on top of them as well. I have cleaned all of the contacts on the machine's and the IU's well. I have a total of 9 of these things and its becoming a nuisance.
    Any suggestions?

      You've ran the stableize I would assume. You can lower how much toner is layed down in tech mode as well.
      Color is not 4 times harder... it's 65,000 times harder. They call it "TECH MODE" for a reason. I have manual's and firmware for ya, course... you are going to have to earn it.

          Yes, I have ran stab and adjusted color in tech mode, but they all seem to use yellow more. It seems as if they go through yellow imaging units more than anything else.

              Well, the machine will ALWAYS use a little more yellow when you make color copies, did you try lowering the density in tech mode?
