    my konica 6500c had a family of mice living it - error message 4101

    they chewed a hell of alot of cables and now i got a 3 man crew trying to fix it.
    We thought we had it beat but when we power up it says error message 4101 .
    Does anyone know what this error message relates too?
    any help will be much appreciated.

      Polygon motor, yellow.
      Color is not 4 times harder... it's 65,000 times harder. They call it "TECH MODE" for a reason. I have manual's and firmware for ya, course... you are going to have to earn it.

              Theres apparently more "rat" damage than youve uncovered and get this the c2407 code is so bad................ its not even in the manual, oh the horror. Sure you read that code right?

                  Mitchl is correct that code is not in the C500, C6000, or C7000 book.

                  Double check the code.



                  Mitchl, I just had to look. But with the amount of damage done by the mice
                  I doubt that machine will ever be the same.

                      They go crazy over wiring, my friend across the lake from where I live went out to start his Mastercraft and it was dead, I took a look rats had eaten the entire engine harness. what a mess, simple enough to replace though took a couple hours.

                              Sorry it was C 2470 . it says in the manual to printer control board or process unit not connected properly. IS THIS A SERIOUS PROBLEM? IS IT EASY TO FIX.

                                  Your problems are a needle in a haystack, to be honest you may want to head in a different direction as resurrecting this machine may be futile.
