Bizhub c252 Firmware question

Dear group I have a bizhub c252 last weke i had problems with somebody rying to update firmware but i had a c-c163 error I have since resolved this but my pagescope interface shows c25-1 and not c250 from which i understand it is ment to the printer works perfectley but im not sure it has correct firmware for this model can somebody confirm what the latest firmware is for this c252 as the version i have at the moment is 4038-0100-GC4-H5-000

not sure this is correct im in the uk I have been in touch with the people who service this who have said its so old now they dont service this model so im on my own it would seem thank goodness for you guys my last problem i had was resovled quickley no thanks to elmo but if anyone could advise on latest firmware also i am looking at openapi im sure i cant do it with a c252 bizhub but there seems to be an option for it in the settings could anyone advise is this printer beyond openapi ability

Isn't latest GY8-K0.

That's the final firmware I ever used on this model

This info is for the C353 series, but it may work for yours also...Try setting softswitch 10 to a HEX 02 value. This gets rid of the "generic" config page and the KM "Planets" logo. Emujo

this has worked for me it now says konica when booting up

as for firmware version for this printer have no idea which version is the latest if anyone on here can advise which version is the correct latest that would be handy

thankyou but this can be downloaded for nothing already from the web and as for firmware i a mstill none the wiser as to the latest version for my c252 printer also nobody can advise about open api either is there anyware i can find this infomation please

Who knows!
This is typical Konica nonsensical FW labeling/dating. I just browsed through the three base firmware documentation and still not sure.

Good news is that you have a ~33.3333333% chance of choosing correctly.

Decipher this (I am inside the USA):
Version K0 8/2/2007-8/23/2007
Version I8 2/23/2007
Version G4 8/22/2006-1/5/2007


I am guessing the KO knocks out the other two.8/2/2007-8/23/2007

K0 is the latest firmware for the C252. It was released 08/01/2007 to give you a idea of how old it is.

Good thing you are here to verify.
Do you know why the date is 8/2/2007-8/23/2007? I mean what the heck does that even mean?
(Admittedly, I thought I read the G4 year as 8/22/2007-1/5/2007--oops.)
