feeder issue...

hi gentelmen...i've installed konicaminolta bh c224e....everything was ok but the problem is with the feeder unit does not work it is completely dead...someone told me there is an activation code to activate the feeder is that right?...please i need help thanks...

It's a setting in the Service Mode with the new e machines...depends on which DF you have....it's in the installation instructions....

Just need to tell the m/c in service mode it's got a doc feeder...

DF-701 is the dual scan, DF 624 is the single pass. Make sure you set the correct DF. If you start popping error codes after you initialize it and it's the dual scan ADF, then you may want to double check the small ribbon cable that connects the dual scan board to the main PWB. Can be a little tricky 1st time you put one together. Emjo
