Hi all
have a c253, think someone has changed the admin password. when I go into the service to change it comes up to verify password then machine completely freezes. Any tips or words of wisdom would be very helpful

did you tried to update the Firmware?
Maybe it freezes because of faulty Firmware

if updating / reloading the firmware doesnt fix it, do an NVRAM recovery, that will fix it for sure.

A less extreme measure would be to try initialise the machine first, this may fix it too - if it cant even do this and locks up, proceed with NVRAM recovery, if it still doesnt work, replace the NVRAM.

follow the relevent instructions when performing these tasks, you will need to set the machine up again.

PS. I like your avatar, is this how you deal with office girls who dont use the copiers correctly in Glasgow?

Quite new to Konica stuff how do you initialise the machine, I know on the ricoh you can do a memory all clear is it the same ??
