Any update on this? I just ran into a warming up machine after replacing the print head to solve a C4551 code. Code gone but warming up forever.

      Thanks,

      Colin

Check the interface cable comming from scanner to mfp for bent pins/poor connectivity

Have you adjusted the lasers registration? Stabilisation etc.

I had one 253 that was freezing up..usually over the weekend... no C-codes , just send a print job machine dead...reboot worked fine. This was happening more frequent eventually coming with laser error.
                Changed laser problem gone.

What about the RAM's have you tried changing it?
.OK Google! ... will I need Berrocca this morning?

                  Solved.
One of the new lasers was defective. After swapping the black and yellow lasers it would intermittently display a yellow laser fault code or say warming up forever. Replaced the yellow with an old unit I saved just in case.
                  Works fine now.
