    Getting a low toner message on new C454e

    Getting a "toner C is low, replace when indicated"message. The copier only has 2,500 copies on it. Tried another toner bottle, ran the hopper fill and toner supply for Cyan in service mode, no luck. Any ideas?

    If I remember there is a problem with some machines caused by a failure of a bushing..have a look on the KM site!

      Hi there, try removing the sub toner hopper and have it vacuumed and cleaned out. Reposition the actuator that may have gone jammed in the toner low postion, refit the unit then do the toner supply in service mode again.

      If this doesn't work out try observing the level history in the service mode for the color if its below 5% then you might want to do toner supply again and check if level increases to 6%. If this doesn't change then try changing the developer unit.
