    [Misc] External memory has been detected(installed). Currently this feature cannot be used

    hi,

    i have c220 machine. when i print a job, print job spooled and sent to printer. But machine cannot print, only blue light blinking for long time.
    and when i connect a pen drive to the machine the following message displayed.
    "External memory has been detected(installed). Currently this feature cannot be used"

      The only reasons I can think of for both of these issues to pop up (assuming they are related) is user authentication is on, and you are not using the correct codes to print. This would also affect the pen drive if you have not enabled these functions for your users. Other than that, it could be the HDD. BTW, what does the job log indicate after the failed print? Emujo

          one other possibility is that you have the "Interrupt" button depressed.
          I actually ran into this just a few days ago on a C652

              Make sure you enable to function for external memory through the admin settings. Also Make sure the memory stick if formatted in FAT32.
