I have a C500 with intermittent J72-29 codes. Any suggestions.

I just had this problem. The connector wiring to the exit sensor was making intermittent contact. I found this when I pull the connector off to check the sensor and the wire cut. I found another 3-pin connector and spliced it into the wiring harness.

      Hi,

Ive also had like that problem to, the wiring loom is to short there is a mod for it, a longer wiring loom.
Also had a problem with intermittent jams with that code also and it was due to the solenoid beside the anticurl roller, the wire to the solenoid was damaged, replaced solenoid and it worked.

Many thanks, gentleman. I too went to pull of the connector to the switch and the red wire came right off. Spliced a new connector, works just like a champ.

Again I thank you and my customer thanks you

        Blessings,

        Rob

I had this same issue on a 7255. I had a good harness to use w/o splicing.
