print defect in PDF C6501

All the other prints but not the pdf file get printed well on C-6501 using IC 408.The output is blur and color background in white areas but if a Coral Draw/photoshop/openfile is printed it is perfect.is it the problem with the fiery or any updates req?

Hi,
There are numerous patch files for the IC-408.
Install all patch files to see if this resolves your issue

is there a web link to download patch because the KM website dosent show any patches to download for ic 408.

Hi,
Use remote desktop to log into the fiery (from another pc on the same network as the IC-408). It will prompt you for log in user name and password. Use is Administrator, password is your current administrator password (usually Fiery.1)
Under programs, Fiery there is system update, run this.
There will be a check now button which will go to the EFI update site. It will check for available updates. Note that the IC-408 must have internet access.
If this errors there is one patch file that needs to be loaded manually first. This will update the security certificate. The patch file DL on CSES is DLBT1102137EN. Read the install instructions carefully when installing as this is done differently to other patch files.
Once you can connect to the EFI update site correctly it will display all the current patch files. You select them all and hit start. some patch files are exclusive patches so will prompt you to just load these and restart. You will probably have to go into the product updates about 4 times as the exclusive patches will need a reboot. Keep going until there are no patch files listed on the update screen.

it looks like there is a problem is the system updating process,it ask me to check the internet connection / also the proxy settings Error no 10.the internet access is good. Any suggestions?

GW and DNS settings set on the Fiery?!?!
