I got a C454 that doesn't come out from power saving mode and i have to turn it off and back on to get it going. When it locks up i cant access the web interface also. I have tried various power level settings, disabling hdd and firmware but it is still locking up. If that was (en) version I would have changed the ssd but according to tech support it probably not an ssd. Will try new memory chip and refitting every connector on the back.
any one else had anything similar?

Have you tried turning sleep mode off altogether? In service mode, under System 1, there should be a "Sleep Mode On/Off" choice setting. Turn that on, and then in admin mode under the system settings you can turn sleep mode off. That has solved a lot of problems for us. The machine will still go into Low Power mode so it still won't be a power hog.
