Hi, I have this code in two machines Di 5510 i think that this code saved on memory . Does anyone have any idea how to solve this?

Re: Di 5510 SC 23-04
It is a failure of PCL.
And yes lots of us can solve it. I will assume you are just the user of the machines as you gave the same minimal amount of info as we get on work orders. You will need a tech. The greatest enemy of knowledge isn't ignorance, it is the illusion of knowledge. Stephen HawkingComment

Re: Di 5510 SC 23-04
Make sure the two connectors on the charge corona are properly connected. The code refers to the PCL.
If that isn't the problem then replace the charge corona.
Hope this helpsComment

Re: Di 5510 SC 23-04
When you say you changed the corona, do you mean the one above the drum? Did you put a new unit in, or rebuild it yourself?
Were these machines already running or are they used ones you are trying to fix for resale? The greatest enemy of knowledge isn't ignorance, it is the illusion of knowledge. Stephen HawkingComment

Re: Di 5510 SC 23-04
The reason I was asking was that if the machines were bought in bulk from a dealer, a lot of those machines have been picked over and had their good parts swapped with bad ones. If swapping parts, you need to know that the machine you got the part from was working.
I I were in your position and had acess to a working 5510, I would swap the whole drum carriage first. If that corrects the fault, then put your suspected bad corona back in the machine. If it codes again, the problem is the corona. If it does not, the problem is somewhere in the carriage. If putting a working carriage in does not correct the code, the problem goes deeper into the electronics. The greatest enemy of knowledge isn't ignorance, it is the illusion of knowledge.
