C452 displays only b+w printing is now possible

Hi All
looking for help with a C452
bought as a job lot of 10 got 1 of them playing up

it is low mileage only 40k total electronic and mechanical count

machine copies and prints in b+w and Colour everything works ok
but displays the following


only b+w printing now possible
fax cannot be used currently
Toner C low replace when indicated

the machine does not have fax fitted and it is set to off
ive replaced the toner with a different one with atleast 3/4 full

ive tried data clear and firmware
but still no joy and ideas

I had the same after nvram got corrupted and the license management error came up , In the end a new nvram and firmware sorted it.

check that the IU life is on Non-stop and that the fax is enabled.

You need to turn the MFP off and on. When it powers up look for any errors that allow you to "continue operation". If the MFP detects errors that can be self isolated then you will get these messages until the problem is corrected and power is cycled. Alternately, someone may have gone through service mode and isolated these items. There is also the possibility that the MFP was managed by a 3rd party app and it can no longer connect and use those features. The toner low message can only be cleared with a new cartridge. You need to get a new toner and allow the MFP to run until the "replace toner now" message appears, then install new cartridge. Emujo

Make sure the contact pins on the machine where the toner loads are not bent. I've had bent ones cause this problem and other goofy electronic glitches.

i ran the nv reset tool and set the machine back up
all sorted now can only think it was corruption in the nv
