    Konica Minolta Bizhub C500 SRA3 setting help.

    Hi guys, I have just purchased a used Konica Minolta C500 with a hi-cap feeder.

    I have searched the forum looking for help on the basics. I am hoping I can get some advice on these little issues I have.

    1. Getting the machine to recognise SRA3?
    - I have installed the ps drivers which connects and sends the files to the printer. (I have set paper size to SRA3)

    when the files are ripped via the fiery and received by the printer I get the message "job doesn't match paper size, change tray or stop job".

    I select tray 1 (which has SRA3 paper loaded) but the image is not centred and approx 10mm is missing from the top.

    My setup is xp pdf > fiery installed on xp > C500

    I must be missing something but after several hours of trying different settings and 100's waste sheets I am unable to get SRA3 print.

    2. Bypass paper jamming j17-09
    - I have tried printing via the bypass unsuccessfully as I keep getting paper jam j17-09. Paper goes in about 5-6 inches and gets jammed.

    Any help, tips or solution is much appreciated

      Will it reconize other paper sizes properly? (from the large cap tray you are trying to use)
      Color is not 4 times harder... it's 65,000 times harder. They call it "TECH MODE" for a reason. I have manual's and firmware for ya, course... you are going to have to earn it.

          Hi, it recognises A3, A4 & 13x19 via the trays, I haven't tried the go cap yet. I have tried inserting sra3 320x450 and machine pick it up as special

              Had another go at printing 21 business cards on Sra3 today. As you can see in the image there is a approximately 30mm missing of the image on either side.

                  What Rip do you have?
                  The machine does not recognise SRA3 as a standard paper size so has to be set up as "custom" (320x450) in the machine and send down as custom(same size) in the print driver.
                  If you have an IP921 (embedded EFI controller) you are screwed as it will print but will not align SRA3 for front to back alignment.
