[Error Code] C754 "Ready to Accept Another Job" - but won't print anything.

    Hi all,

I've got a c754 that gives the message "Ready to accept another job" when you print to it, copy, or attempt to print any config sheets. But will not actually print anything. Jobs just stay there until deleted.
It will scan with no problem.

It has the "oil can" icon on the main copy screen. When you press it, it comes up with an L-4 code. And the window is called a "PRT/IR Error" which I can't recall seeing before.

It has current firmware, which I rewrote.
    No options installed.
    User Authentication is off.

    Any thoughts?

Have you tried trouble reset? Your Bk drum is at the "end" of life. Thats why L4 is showing.

Shut the machine down and hold the reset button and powerup and hold until you get trouble reset. Tap on trouble reset and shut machine down. Wait 10-15 second and boot up as normal. Let us know what happened.

Go into service mode. "stop 0 clear". DC/Dev lifestop set to "don't stop"

        That took care of it!

I've seen this before on earlier models, but not on anything that ends in 4 or e. Those usually come from the warehouse pre-set for No Stop. This particular machine was in our demo room for a while before being sold off to a customer. I'm thinking it had an all-clear done to it, and the No Stop was forgotten.

        Thanks for your help!
