0300 Polygon motor error

If someone has a service manual I would be happy to figure this out on my own. I have been servicing printers for 16 years and am only as smart as google on this one since this printer is just one of our office units that is far removed from what I normally work on.

If you do not have a manual but have any tips, I am all ears

Do you hear the laser motor running?
Relevant parts in manual are PH Unit and PRCB.Worth a try checking wirings.

I haven't heard it myself. When I was asked to look at it, it was running fine and the issue was intermittent. I asked the user to send me the error code if it happens again.

That code is pretty much death for the laser. It is a bitch. All covers come off. Laser ribbons and cables snake through to plug in to the main board. Just lots and lots of screws.

Thanks. I used to be a Xerox tech and they had a similar type laser in them and the code meant replace it.
