    C360 Booklet Finisher/Half Fold

    Hi Everyone,

    I have a C360 with a booklet finisher that while making a booklet with half fold and center staples the staples are in the correct place, but the half fold is in the wrong place. It seems to consistently fold about four inches too soon...any suggestions?

      Have you done anything to troubleshoot the problem? Let us know what you have done so we aren't going over the same ground as you.

          check the operation of the gripper fingers / solenoid that grips and pulls the set down for folding. Gravity alone is insufficient for the set to follow the gripper if it has a loose grip.

          It can be operated repeatedly in service mode with SD unit pulled out and the door jigged. I have had the solenoid burn out on machines used extensively for booklets. It may test ok with a meter and go open circuit practically on the first operation.
