    Mishandled paper j10-01 c500

    Hi, I am having a problem feeding any type of paper / size via the bypass. I am getting error message mishandled paper j10-01 error. Any help advice is much appreciated

      sorry the c500 is so old it is hard to remember what exactly it looks like. Ill try my best though. Here is what i found on konica

      Solution

      CAUSE:Paper stopper plate failure (for the paper stopper plate position,)

      SOLUTION: Check whether the steel plate isdamaged ormalformed. If the plate has failed, replace (p/n 65AA42221E).

      I have had this issue on new models and had the clutches be the problem however dont know if it is the same as the 500. konica refers to a attachment regarding this issue on there website but i cant find it lol. good luck
