Konica Minolta Magicolor 4750EN with code 0502 thermistor 1 error
Magicolor with code 0502 thermistor 1 error. First thing I noticed was that 3 toner chips had come off back of cartridges and fallen into machine. Reinstalled on cartridges and still had 0502 error until I started to remove each toner cartridge 1 at a time end then reinstall. Each time a toner was missing I got the 0502. But when I removed the yellow I got a need yellow toner message. I swapped the yellow chip with the magenta and the got the need magenta toner and when yellow was removed got the 0502 error. This told me a chip issue.
I ordered yellow chip and changed and then got 0502 with each toner removed. Customer had ordered another fuser unit which i was unaware of. I installed the replacement fuser and still get the error 0502. There is no error code reset that I can determine. The manual says the reset is to turn machine off and on. Thinking either defective replacement fuser, coincidentally has same error....or maybe power supply or main board. Does anyone have experience with this issue on this or similar model?
