I have a strange fault on a C350( typically last call on Friday )
the machine sometimes will boot up to the ready sceen then shut down and the power up, it will do this 3 or 4 times befor it settles in the ready state, then when you try and take a copy it will freeze in the 'copying' state.
I have removed the hard drive and changed the memory with no luck,i have also put the lattest firmware on the machine . im going back on Monday to swap some boards with another machine.
Any one with any better ideas?

sounds like your doing the right thing. If you dont have any luck with the new boards then try checking the transfer belt and imaging units. i've had black and white copiers do the same sort of thing and it turned out to be the drum unit

I have a horrible feeling your nvram is going down.
Swap all the boards as you suggested if that fails give me a call I may be able to help
